At Solis Concrete, we are proud to be a multi-generational, family-owned company rooted in tradition and craftsmanship. Our story begins with humble origins—like many American success stories—where a strong work ethic, skilled hands, and deep community ties laid the foundation for something greater.

Our founders came to the United States with one valuable trade—concrete and masonry work—and used that skill to support their families. They built not only homes, but also trust, reputation, and a legacy in their local community. What may have started as laying bricks and pouring concrete quickly turned into building something far more meaningful: relationships and reliability.

In 1989, during the first generation of establishing our company,  Javier Solis, founder and owner of Solis Concrete, brought the concept to taking concrete masonry work to a different level seeing many San Antonians in and around the city, from family, friends, and even as a contractor working on considerably large concrete based projects from national restaurant chain, national grocery stores, and even many credit & financial institutions, as well as doctors, medical, and governmental businesses , that provides a science advancement in the layering structure style of how concrete is laid from the base to foundation to step by step process that strengthens the concrete to last many years and withstand and have a longer life tolerance. Indeed, over time, their neighbors began to turn exclusively to them to build their family homes, knowing that honest advice and high-quality work was assured. This was in a time before permits, housing inspectors, or building codes; when a team was brought on to complete a project, customers had to know that they could rely upon its work ethic, integrity, and quality. It was well-known that choosing Solis Concrete meant results customers could trust and a final product they could enjoy for generations to come.

Our founder comes from a generation of concrete builders, foundation and structure builders, and years of built trust that eventually signified their last name to many business owners and residential home owners circular about 70 or 80 miles from the center of downtown San Antonio. In 1995,  Javier Solis officiated his company with a division of contractors and workers under his company brand and name. In 2025,  on its' 30 year anniversary,  Solis Concrete continues to proud a world of work for business and home owners.  Our founder  has been guided by the belief that when you are providing a service for people in your community, people who you see every day, there is no choice but to deliver the absolute best quality work of which you are capable.
